My love for photography began at a young age, when imagination had no limits, creativity was high, and my work ranged from silly pictures of Mom and Dad to a blurred, close-up portrait of a stuffed teddy bear. I really don't know what the vision was with that...
Photography, whether by phone or professional camera, was something I always favoured next to my other hobbies: writing, video games, and gushing over my adorable cats (it's a full-time hobby).
2024 was a chaotic year, but through the chaos, I had began to revisit my love of photography thanks to Mom allowing me to use her Canon EOS Rebel T3 camera. Thanks, Mom.
My first unofficial, official photoshoot was of my friend and boyfriend, both separately and together. It was a fun experiment to see what I could do, what I could come up with - the possibilities were endless, even though we were limited to only the yard. They listened to all my suggestions, including my little moments of thinking out-loud to figure out what I want to do next, and they even provided their own ideas and suggestions for me to try out. There was a ton of experimenting that day, as well as crouching... Ow. My knees kind of hurt after that.
That year also brought me the opportunity to try a professional photo editing software, which was quite difficult to learn at first, but I eventually got used to it, using it today to meticulously edit photos to the best of my ability. I always love learning something new!
Back to the present and, so far, I have done a couple of paid photoshoots for some amazing clients, and when I say amazing, I mean AMAZING, because they were so awesome to work with and their photos came out looking gorgeousss! I'm telling you, they are definitely models in my eyes.
But enough of me getting sidetracked. I can't wait to help more future clients capture their special moment! Even though I claim to only be accepting graduates at the moment, both high school and post-secondary, I'm more than happy to consider other events/occasions. There's no harm in reaching out!
